We're thrilled that you're considering our programmes for your personal and professional development journey.
In these Terms:
“We”, “Us”, and “Common Ground” refer to Common Ground Pte. Ltd.
Before proceeding with your registration, please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions:
1. Registration and Confirmation
1.1. Completion of Registration: Your registration is complete once you submit the registration form and make full payment (or set up payment arrangements if applicable). Unless otherwise stated, for digital programmes, access will be granted immediately upon successful registration and payment.
1.2. Complete and Accurate Information: Ensure that all information provided in your application is true, accurate, and complete. Providing incorrect or incomplete information may affect your registration status.
1.3. Confirmation: Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions. Please ensure your contact details are accurate and up-to-date.
2. Fees and Payment
2.1. Currency and Taxes: Fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are exclusive of prevailing Goods and Services Tax (GST).
2.2. Non-Refundable Administration Fee: For in-person programmes, a non-refundable administration fee of $80 (exclusive of GST) is included in the programme fee.
2.3. Payment Deadline: All in-person programme fees must be paid in full by the specified deadline, which will be communicated to participants in the Tax Invoice sent via email. A late fee of $80 (exclusive of GST) will be incurred for any payments not made by the deadline and may be charged per month until the balance is paid in full. If a different arrangement is required, please contact us via email at community@ourcommonground.com.sg, and we will consider your request.
2.4. Payment Plans: Participants who require financial flexibility may contact us at community@ourcommonground.com.sg to request an instalment payment plan. Please note that failure to meet the payment deadlines may result in a late fee of $80 (exclusive of GST).
3. Cancellations, Refunds, and Postponements
We understand that unexpected situations can arise, and we aim to make the process as clear and straightforward as possible. Please review the following terms related to cancellations.
3.1. Cancellation Terms for In-person Programmes:
- 3.1.1. Full refund for cancellations made at least 30 days before the programme.
- 3.1.2. 50% refund for cancellations made between 14 and 29 days prior to the programme.
- 3.1.3. No refund for cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the programme.
3.2. How to Cancel: To cancel your participation, please submit your request via email to community@ourcommonground.com.sg with the subject line "Cancellation Request for [Programme Name]–[Your Name]." We recommend submitting your cancellation notice as early as possible, within the cancellation period, to ensure clarity and avoid any misunderstandings.
3.3. Exceptional Circumstances: If you are unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances such as illness or family emergencies, please contact us promptly. We will review each case individually and may offer options such as rescheduling or transferring to a future programme.
3.4. Refund Process and Timeline: Refunds will be processed between 14 to 30 business days following approval of your cancellation. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method, excluding any non-refundable costs such as administrative, late or platform processing fees.
3.5. Non-Refundable Costs: Please note that some portions of the programme fee, such as programme materials, and administrative and platform processing fees, may not be refunded. These costs will be deducted from the refund amount, if applicable.
3.6. Postponements: If you are unable to attend the scheduled programme, you may request a one-time postponement to a different date within the same calendar year, subject to availability. After the first postponement, additional requests will incur a processing fee of $80 (exclusive of GST).
3.7. Cancellations by Common Ground: In the event that Common Ground needs to cancel or reschedule the programme, you will be notified at least 4 weeks in advance. You will then have the option to:
- 3.7.1. Receive a full refund of the programme fee paid (inclusive of the platform processing fee), or
- 3.7.2. Transfer to the next available programme date (no administrative fee incurred).
3.8. Cancellation Terms for Digital Programmes:
- 3.8.1. Due to the nature of digital programmes, all registrations and purchases are final and non-refundable. In cases of technical issues preventing access, please contact us promptly at community@ourcommonground.com.sg.
4. Programme Content and Schedule
4.1. Changes to Content or Schedule: We reserve the right to modify the programme content, schedule, or trainers as necessary in support of the programme objectives. Every effort will be made to deliver the programme as advertised.
4.2. Learning Outcomes: The programme aims to equip participants with specific skills and knowledge as outlined in the course description.
5. Venue, Facilities and Accessibility
5.1. Venue and Facilities:
- 5.1.1. The in-person programme will take place at Common Ground Civic Centre, 21 Bedok North St 1 Singapore 469659.
- 5.1.2. Please refer to the Welcome Guide in your programme email for more information on the facilities and amenities available at the venue.
5.2. Accessibility: We are committed to making our programmes accessible to all. If you have any special requirements, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate your needs.
6. Participation, Conduct, Health Safety, and Whistleblowing
At Common Ground, we are committed to fostering a respectful, safe, and positive learning environment for all participants. By registering, you acknowledge your responsibility to attend and actively engage in the programme while upholding the values of professionalism, respect, and openness.
6.1. Attendance and Engagement: Your participation is key to creating a positive learning experience for all.
6.2. Health and Safety: The health and safety of all participants are important to us. If you feel unwell, we ask that you consider the safety of other participants and refrain from attending. Please inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend, and we will do our best to support you by exploring flexible options, such as transferring to a future session within the calendar year, depending on availability and your circumstances.
6.3. Behaviour and Conduct:
- 6.3.1. We expect all participants to demonstrate professionalism and respect toward others throughout the programme. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour, whether towards fellow participants, Common Ground trainers or staff, will not be tolerated. Should an issue arise, we will first attempt to resolve it through open and constructive communication. If the behaviour continues to disrupt the programme, we may need to take further steps, including removal from the programme. Please note that no refund will be issued in such cases.
6.4. Reporting Misconduct:
- 6.4.1. If you experience or witness any misconduct or have concerns about fellow participants, you can report the issue to a member of Common Ground staff present or email community@ourcommonground.com.sg. All reports will be handled confidentially and with care.
6.5. Whistleblowing:

7. Materials
7.1 Programme materials:
- 7.1.1 During the session: Programme materials (digital, downloadable or printed) will be provided to participants. We recommend bringing personal devices and/or writing tools (e.g., notebook, pens) or any other accessories that will support your learning experience.

7.1.2 After the session: For in-person programmes, a summary of key notes and relevant resources will be sent via email to support your continued learning. For digital programmes, participants have continued access to the programme for one year, unless otherwise stated.

7.1.3 All materials provided during the programme, including presentations, handouts, and digital content, are the property of Common Ground.
- 7.1.4 Restrictions on Use: Participants may only use the programme materials for personal purposes. Reproduction, distribution, organisational or commercial use of the materials, in whole or in part, is prohibited without the written consent of Common Ground.
8. Liability
8.1. Limitation of Liability: Common Ground, including its trainers, staff, and agents, shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or injury, including personal injury, property damage, or financial loss, incurred during participation in the programme. This limitation includes any technical issues that may arise during online participation.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
9.1. Personal Information: Your personal information will be treated confidentially and used for programme-related purposes, including post-programme and marketing communications, as well as sharing of resources.
9.2. Data Protection Policy: We comply with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Our data protection policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. For more information, contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@ourcommonground.com.sg.
10. Post-Training Support and Feedback
10.1. Post-Training Support: After the programme, you will have access to programme materials and resources with opportunities to further learning opportunities and ongoing support. We encourage you to email us to find out more about learning and support opportunities post-programme.
10.2. Feedback: We value your feedback and ask that you complete a short survey during the programme. Your input will help us enhance future programmes.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
11.1. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore.
11.2. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from participation in the training programme will first be resolved through mutual agreement or mediation before consideration of and proceeding to legal action.

13. Right to Terminate
13.1 We reserve the right to terminate your participation in the programme for violations of these terms, disruptive behaviour, misconduct, or other concerns. Any termination will follow due process, and the participant will be notified in writing.
